Very few people can say that they are totally happy with the shape of their body. Even many of those who are fit do not claim to be satisfied with theirs; one might say she has thunder thighs, another might bemoan her flat butt, etc. Rare, indeed, is the individual who is at peace with what nature has bestowed upon her.
In many cases, weight loss is an issue. Both men and women complain about the spare tire in their middle and how this part of the torso is so hard to tone. This is why even when weight loss has been achieved, they can’t really say that they already have their target body. Understandably, after many years of being stretched by fat, to suddenly have all that taken away leaves the skin all loose and saggy. For this reason, a body lift is usually what the doctor, perhaps even literally, orders.
Body lift after weight loss would perhaps involve both the lower and the upper parts of the body. The lower body lift takes care of sculpting the abdomen, hips, buttocks and thighs, while the upper body lift deals with the breasts.
Many mothers who long for their pre-pregnancy body would definitely be interested in a lower body lift or maybe even just a tummy tuck. Of course, it is advised that they be done with having babies first before they commit to getting a body lift. As for those who had bariatric or weight loss surgery, an entire year is recommended before they go for a body lift. The delay would be ample time for them to improve their health and for their body to adjust to the change.
It is a tough undertaking to strive toward someone’s ideal shape, but, if at the end of the day, she gets to her goal, then her efforts are properly rewarded.
